Fuel the Fire Within: Confidence

Hey Reader!

We are so grateful you are here!

Soul on Fire Spotlight:
Ashley Zebley

This month, we’re celebrating Ashley Zebley, whose fire was sparked the moment she chose to trust her own worth more than the safety of a familiar career. That leap became a defining chapter—one that taught her her security comes from her values, her work ethic, and her sense of self. Belonging guides everything she does. Ashley leads with the intention that people feel wanted, seen, and heard, shaped by the resilience she built advocating for herself long before she ever advocated for others.

Ashley comes alive when she’s pouring into people through mentoring, offering guidance, and watching someone who once doubted themselves step into a new opportunity. Even a recent stretch of being sick reminded her of her own inner strength: the ability to shift her mindset, remember what she’s overcome, and trust that healing always comes. She hopes her openness encourages others to share their stories too, breaking down the stigmas that keep people isolated.

As she looks ahead, Ashley is choosing to carry positivity with intention. She’s committed to bringing a different energy into every room she enters, one that lifts, steadies, and sparks something in the people around her.

Ashley is a SoulFire coach, and will also be leading this month’s Confidence Lab, bringing her grounded wisdom and gift for empowering others into a space designed to help our community rise with clarity and courage.

SoulFire Sparks Series: Mariah Newman

The Sparks That Lifted Her, and the Spark She Now Shares

Before SoulFire existed, Mariah was in a season where her confidence felt quiet. She had strength, but she couldn’t always see it. And in that vulnerable space, she was surrounded by sparks: the people who believed in her, encouraged her, and held up a mirror to the resilience she had forgotten.

In the special Spark Series of The SoulFire Sessions, her episode, The Wind Beneath My Wings, Mariah reflects on how those steady voices helped her rise. Their belief didn’t just support her; it awakened her. It lit a small, steady spark inside her, one that reminded her she was capable of rebuilding, leading, and trusting herself again.

That spark became the foundation of SoulFire.

Today, Mariah uses her own spark the way others once used theirs for her: to guide, to uplift, and to create a space where people feel safe enough to grow. The fire she carries now is both a tribute to the sparks who lifted her and a gift she continues to pass forward.

Who are the sparks who helped you rise, and how might you use your own spark to support someone else’s becoming?

Coaches’ Corner: The Quiet Power of Confidence

We often imagine confidence as something bold and unshakeable, an energy you either have or don’t. But real confidence is quieter. It’s the trust you build with yourself over time, the steady knowing that grows each time you honor a boundary, speak up even if your voice trembles, take action before you feel ready, and let yourself be seen as you are. Confidence shows up in these everyday moments.

This is where coaching becomes a powerful partner.

SoulFire coaches don’t push you to “act confident.” Instead, they help you understand what’s getting in the way, reconnect with your strengths, and practice new ways of showing up that feel true to who you are. Coaching gives you space to explore your doubts, clarify what matters, and take aligned action that naturally builds confidence from the inside out.

This month, notice the quiet ways you’re already demonstrating confidence. Let those moments count, and if you want support strengthening that inner fire, SoulFire coaches are here to walk with you as you grow.

Your confidence doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful.
Sometimes the quietest flames burn the strongest.

Hey Reader! We are so glad you are here! Soul on Fire Spotlight: Jill Wesbecher This month, we’re celebrating Jill Wesbecher, a woman whose fifty years in retail management, and lifelong commitment to people, show us that leadership isn’t confined to titles or offices. It lives in the everyday moments. Jill learned early, growing up on a farm, that hard work and smart thinking go hand in hand. Those lessons shaped her career, including a defining moment in 1995 when a Sam’s Club member...

Hey Reader! We are so glad you are here! Sparks of Clarity: The Slow Reveal By Amy Thompson As I was finally finishing a puzzle my husband gave me over a year ago, I slowly realized that life is often like a puzzle. (Yes, it took me more than a year to complete the entire puzzle and to be honest a few pieces are still missing having been lost along the way.) So many life lessons were revealed as the picture slowly emerged. Just starting, even if it was overwhelming, was critical. How many...
